This isn't the first time Deepika's stood up for something she believes in.

With her recent turn in Homi Adajania's Vogue video, #MyChoice, Deepika has been promoting a woman's right to choose how she lives her life, whether that choice is about sex, marriage, career or anything else under the sun.

Although the actor is getting bashed by some of her 'fans' all across India, those in the film fraternity who choose to speak out are standing strong with her and echoing her views about letting women be what 'they' want to be not what the society compels them to become.

Veteran actor Shabana Azmi who herself is vocal about equality, endorsed the video by asking everyone to see it:

Arjun Kapoor wants all to be empowered by making a choice:

'More power to the ladies", says Arjun Rampal:

Senior Bachchan calls it pertinent and appreciates Homi Adajania:

For K-Jo it is inspirational, strong and relevant:

Young Alia Bhatt believes that people should not take it lightly:

Farhan Akhtar lauds the 99 women involved in this campaign who are not solely from the film industry:

Filmmaker Ritesh Sidhwani encourages more people to spread its message:
