BAHAWALNAGAR: Taking note of poor condition of a girls school in Chak Chaweka, District Coordination Officer Syed Haider Iqbal has ordered measures to provide missing facilities/services to the school.

The DCO visited the school along with other administrative officers. On his direction, stagnant water was drained out with the help of pumps. Earth filling was carried out through the school management council. An amount of Rs500,000 was provided to the SMC for the purpose.

Work on raising the boundary wall and building a track along the boundary wall has also been started.

The DCO ordered a development scheme that involves a sewerage system and disposal works.
