LAHORE: A Turkish company organised a two-day annual spring festival on Fort Road in the Walled City.

The festival was organised in collaboration with the University of Punjab, Lahore College for Women University and the University of Lahore.

“Since events bring the people from all walks of life together, they share views, take food and visit places of interest together,” Lahore Waste Management Company Chief Khalid Majeed said on the occasion.

General Coordinator of Albayrak Company Bahri Tursakoz appreciated active participation of students and other people in the festival.

HELD: Various price control magistrates on Thursday got arrested 33 shopkeepers for overcharging and selling substandard commodities in various open markets of the city.

According to a spokesman, the officials also imposed a fine of Rs310,000 on several others.
