Slain model laid to rest in hometown

SIALKOT: Slain model Abeera Iqbal was finally laid to rest on Saturday at her native graveyard in Sialkot Cantt.

Abeera Iqbal, 23, a resident of Saddar Bazaar locality of Sialkot Cantt, wanted to be a model. She had been living in Lahore with her friends. On Jan 13, she was found murdered and buried in Miani Sahib Graveyard, Lahore.

On Saturday, her body was exhumed on the request of her family. The body was brought to Sialkot for burial.
