SUKKUR: Jacobabad police on Monday claimed to have arrested a suspect involved in the blowing up of Khushhal Khan Khattak Express near Noor Wah on Feb 12.

SSP Malik Zafar Iqbal Awan, accompanied by all DSPs and the official in charge of the CIA posted in the district, told a press conference in his office that the suspect, Hyder Ali Bugti aka Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, son of Raheem Khan Bugti, was a resident of Hamidpur village of Balochistan. “Explosives were also seized from him,” he added.

The SSP also claimed the arrest of Amjad Ali Jatoi and Bashir Ahmed Deenari believed to have been involved in a bomb blast at a bus stand in Jacobabad city a few weeks back.

Besides, he added, a large number of criminals were arrested and arms with ammunition, stolen vehicles and looted money were seized from them during an ongoing operation in the district, the SSP said.
