KARACHI: Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday visited a private hospital for the treatment of the backache he has been suffering from, sources in the hospital and the Pakistan Peoples Party said.
The sources in the Dr Ziauddin Hospital said Mr Zardari arrived there in the afternoon and left after a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan half an hour later.
The party sources quoted hospital officials as saying that those were routine tests for the PPP co-chairperson, who was otherwise in good health.

Doesn't matter what we say or wish but the fact is people do get what they deserve sooner or later.

He is sick, we knew that but was he sick or is he sick, nevertheless he should get treated for other sicknesses also which we have seen since 1992 and the country has suffered due to those.

Strange that he opted a local hospital for checking his physical condition even if the owner of the hospital is a former Minister of his government. Normally people of his class go abroad for checking or treatment for even common cold - Like Manzoor Watoo had.

Surprised to know that he went to a local , Pakistani clinic for MRI . In the past he never trusted Pakistani doctors, always went to Dubai for check up.
