ISLAMABAD: A suspicious man was spotted making the video of a government school in the capital city.

A senior official of the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) told Dawn that on Saturday evening the principal of the Islamabad Model School for Girls, New Shakrial, informed the FDE that an unidentified person made the video of the school building.

The FDE management passed on the information to the Shahzad Town police. The police reached the school could not find any clue to the suspect.

“We responded immediately but could not find any clue to the suspect or confirm the information,” said duty officer Mohammad Ijaz of the Shahzad Town police station.

Director administration Ghulam Hussain Sahoo, the area education officer and other officials of the FDE on Sunday held a meeting at the school and decided to improve the security measures at the institution.

“We have decided to install razor wires on the boundary wall of the school. Security guards of the school have also been directed to remain on vigil,” he added.
