Fake batteries

Published January 31, 2015

RECENTLY, I visited a battery shop with my father to purchase a battery for UPS. There were many batteries of various brands but black-coloured batteries caught my eye without any brand name.

The shopkeeper claimed it to be an excellent battery, having a long life, low cost, etc. We should not buy batteries which are not made to specifications and standard.

Such substandard batteries are more likely to explode. I observed that the shopkeeper was selling these fake batteries without any check. I request the government to take strict action against the fake battery sellers and investigate from where such batteries are coming.
