MIRPURKHAS: Pakistan Peoples Party senator and Sindh PPP youth wing president Ajiz Dhamra has said the future of Pakistan is bright and strong because young people are talented who could compete with their counterparts of developed countries in the world.

Speaking as the chief guest at the Second Regional Youth Conference held under the aegis of the Arts Foundation at the Cultural Complex Hall Mirpurkhas that was attended by former MPA Shamim Aara Panhwer, columnist and intellectual Jami Chandio, Mustafa Baloch, Anti-Corruption Assistant Director Mir Nadir Ali Abro, Social Welfare Deputy Director Junaid Mirza and Shahzado Malik of the Arts Foundation besides notables and citizens.

Earlier, the chief guest inaugurated the conference.

Ajiz Dhamra said youths of Mirpurkhas were more than efficient and talented. They had proved by exhibiting ideas at their stalls that they were peace lovers, he added.

He said the country was at war, adding that intellectuals, civil society representative and media persons should carry on the message exhibited at the stalls.

Senator Dhamra said the PPP had launched the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Progra­mme to increase the efficiency and talent of the youth and so far 156,000 educated youths had got benefits and were running their business.

Later, he visited the stalls set up to raise awareness about the importance of health, cleanliness, education, particularly of girls, peace and love, tree planting and opening of closed schools.
