LARKANA: The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has threatened to launch a vigorous movement if killers of its Sindh secretary general, Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro, were not arrested soon.

Dr Soomro was shot dead while he was saying Fajr prayers in a mosque in Sukkur on Nov 29.

Speaking at a meeting of the party held on Sunday at Jamia Islamia Isha’atul Quran wal Hadees, Sindh JUI-F deputy chief Qari Mohammed Usman warned that once the movement was kicked off, the rulers would not find a place to hide.In reply to a question,

Mr Ghori strongly condemned the Peshawar Army Public School massacre and described it as an inhuman act. He said Islam did not allow killing of any innocent person. He said terrorist must be given exemplary punishment.

SHIKARPUR: Advocate Mohammed Aslam Ghori, the JUI-F deputy secretary general, told the media at the local press club on Sunday that Dr Soomro’s family was not satisfied with the investigation being conducted by the provincial government and police into the leader’s assassination.

Mr Ghori said local JUI-F leadership intended to block all roads leading to Buhttos’ mausoleum in Gharhi Khuda Bukhsh Bhutto on the eve of Dec 27 death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto in protest against the PPP-led government’s failure to track down Dr Soomro’s assassins.
