KHAR: Three security personnel were killed in a roadside blast in Damadola area of Mamond tehsil in Bajaur tribal region on Thursday, officials of local administration said.

The security men were returning to their checkpost after patrolling an area when the remote-controlled explosive device was detonated, some 16km from the agency headquarters of Khar.

The officials said that all the three personnel died on the spot and identified them as Hanif Khan, Gul Said and Awal Khan.

10 SUSPECTS KILLED: At least 10 suspected terrorists were killed and two others injured in a ground action by security forces at Malak Shaga Nullah near Warwan­du Mela and Hossai Nullah in Khyber tribal region on Thursday, adds APP.

According to an Inter-Services Public Relations statement released in Rawalpindi, six to eight `terrorists’ escaped during the offensive. Two security personnel were injured.
