KARACHI: Leading cricket organiser and team owner Nadeem Omar has decided to honour the Pakistan women’s cricket team that recently won the Asian Games in a ceremony which will be attended by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan as chief guest here at a local hotel on Wednesday.

Nadeem, who holds director’s position at Omar Associates, has been working tirelessly and sincerely for the betterment of sports of Pakistan in his individual capacity and has done a tremendous job by honouring leading athletes from different fields of sports with handsome cash prizes and gold medals.

The national women’s team will reach Karachi in the early hours of Wednesday, led by skipper Sana Mir, to attend the ceremony at the Movenpick Hotel. Omar Associates also has a women’s cricket team of its own which boasts such fine players as Kainat Imtiaz and Maham

who have also represented Pakistan internationally.
