LAHORE: The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority on Friday formally lifted the cattle import restrictions for Pakistan.
In a statement, the Dutch Embassy spokesman said that both the countries agreed on a protocol to resume trade after 11 years.
The availability of world-class Dutch dairy cattle was a unique opportunity to Pakistan’s growing dairy sector, he said, adding that “the Netherlands are the cradle of the famous ‘Holstein Friesian’ cow and have perfected this healthy and fertile breed over the centuries.”

Well ! After the Ukraine crises , Future of Food ( special dairy and Meat) form Europe to Russia expected to decline, now they need new markets, after 11 year , OK !!!!. Please in future don't ditch us when not required.

The whole world is turning to Organic, naturally fed cattle like we have in Pakistan. European and US cattle meat is not as tasty as the cattle in Pakistan. I have lived in US most of my life and occassionally visit Pakistan. The whole developed world is moving toward organic food and organic meat which comes from naturally fed animals not genetically modified and hormone injected un naturally large European, Australian and American cattle.
