SIALKOT: The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) resorted to unprovoked firing on Sialkot border villages and in Charwah and Shakargarh sectors along Working Boundary on Thursday.

It was the second day of fresh spell of Indian firing on Charwah, Dhamaala, Rangor, Bhagiyaari and adjoining villages.

On Wednesday, the BSF had targeted civilian population in some villages in Charwah sector.

APP adds: According to senior officials of the Chenab Rangers, firing by the BSF, which continued for about half an hour, destroyed a number of houses.

The Chenab Rangers retaliated in a befitting manner, they said.
