LAHORE: Punjab Textbook Board (PTB) defeated Afghanistan Under-19 team by 24 runs at the LCCA ground here on Tuesday.

Batting first after winning the toss, PTB were dismissed for 178 in 39.1 overs with Nabil Malik (49) and Shuja Haider (26) as the prominent scorers. For the visitors, Kareem and Javed captured three wickets each.

In reply, Afghanistan were restricted to 154 with Shahid (42) and Hazrat (40) making good contributions. Nadeem Shahbaz grabbed four wickets.
