KARACHI: The Sindh Tennis Players Association will organise NBP Open Sindh Ranking Tennis Cham­pionship here from Sept 20 at the Defence Authority Creek Club.

The events to be contested in the championship include men’s singles, ladies singles, juniors under-17 singles, boys & girls under-13 singles, under-11 singles, under-9 singles, 35-plus doubles and 55-plus doubles.

Handsome cash prizes will be awarded to the winners and runner-ups of the respective events.

All out-station players will be provided with economy class railway fare both ways plus a daily allowance of Rs400 per day until elimination and main draw.

Last date of entry is Sept 19. Karachi-based players should send their entries to Irshad Ahmed at DA Creek Club or at 0334-3066505.

Mushtaq Ahmed is the vice-president of organising committee, Reza Ali Mirza is the tournament director, Khalid Rehmani is the referee and Irshad Ahmed is the organising secretary.
