PESHAWAR: Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti on Tuesday alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan was fast losing confidence of the masses due to his “non-serious and irresponsible” style of politicking.

Imran had made the country a laughing stock in the world by staging what he said a 'Tamasha' (theatre) in the federal capital, said Hoti, while talking to various delegations at Bacha Khan Markaz here.

Hoti, who is president of the KP chapter of Awami National Party, said the country in general, and KP in particular, were faced with massive problems, while Imran Khan, his party's chief minister and ministers had been enjoying “drama” in Islamabad for the last few days. Those, who were creating anarchy and lawlessness, could not serve the country, he added.

The former chief minister said that Imran Khan could not even attract 10,000 people for his so-called Azadi March against his claim of bringing one million on the roads.

The failure to gather considerable number of people had made Imran furious and that was why he was making irresponsible speeches in a bid to save his skin, he added.

Announcing resignations from the assemblies all over the country except the KP showed his double standards, he said adding that PTI had failed to deliver in the province and instead was spreading anarchy in the country.
