MUMBAI: Salman Khan’s foray into the musical world began with him singing the song Hangover in his new movie Kick – and he doesn’t intend to stop there. According to a reliable source, the actor is in the process of planning the launch of his own single, reported the Deccan Chronicle.

“That song was never meant for the film. We, as actors get invited to many places and are asked to sing,” said Salman, in a recent interview about Hangover.

“Everything is usually lip-synced to someone else’s voice. But if we [actors] have our own song, then we can sing at such events. After [Hangover] was recorded, it turned out to be good and Sajid said, ‘Let’s put this in the film’. My voice was never meant for the film, it was for me,” added Salman.

“Salman is very serious about his singing plans. He will be associated with the best music label or do it completely on his own. It will be on a grand scale and the only hitch is that he isn’t clear if it should be a single or an entire album,” revealed a source, commenting on his plans of launching his own single.
