I agree with Fereeha Idrees's observation about KPK CM...height of ignorance...if Nawaz Sharif has to give in...than he should also not allow IK or TuQ to be part of any future care taker set up...Care taker set up should be from technocrats and should comprise of at least 200 CTs (Care Takers-new name instead of ministers)...CT should possess at least 20 years of local and foreign experience i.e. 10 years each...each ministry should be headed by 10 CTs and they should work like a bench as in judiciary...army and judiciary should oversee there performance...further advice will be offered later...

PM Nawaz and CM Shahbaz must step down. They plundered the containers loads of wealth from poor country's countries poor people who are struggling to get three meals a day and hardly get. These illegal rulers are still not satisfied with billions they looted. They want more, they want to retain their ruling chairs at the cost of thousands of lives. There is a Chinese proverb "every crisis has an opportunity". I am sure there is an opportunity in all this for the greater good, one which is far beyond individual interests. Lets respect democracy. IK & TuQ sb should take on their demand democratically. This way of politics which they are pursuing never seems to be a constructive way. And they are dreaming the Tahrir Square of Egypt like politics those were against a three decade old ruling dictator. Here in Pakistan we are having only a year and half old democratically elected government. IK has to respect his voters views who voted for him across Khyber Pashtunkhwa and in spite of providing them good governance he has started marching against democratically elected government.

I really hate politicians and the politics in my country and I have no sympathy or interest in politics but I got little hope when I see Imran Khan. Look at the life of every politician and look at the life of Imran Khan. Other countries admire him and his abilities, every task he did was with full honesty and faithfully without any personal benefit, all the other politicians do otherwise. If Imran Khan is not succeeded in his objective to get rid of this government and form his government then this nation does not deserve anyone who is sincere and honest, and this nation is doomed to its destruction.

Imran Khan and Tahir Ul Qadri, these two gentlemen have no political baggage and they have not looted/taken any thing from the country unlike other politicians, rather they have given some thing to the country. They are, hence, the best bet for the country. May God bless them with the success in their efforts.

If they entered the red zone and occupy and ransack prime minister house, supreme court, election commission and parliament house etc the world community will certainly going to ask Pakistan to dismantle its nuclear assets. I am not sure how can you make a sitting Prime Minister resign with no apparent disaster... is there any example in history??? what guarantee we have if this prime minister resign then we will not see another march in few months asking new prime minister to resign as well........

there is no dearth of mad people in our country. They just don't understand the reality. For Imran Khan a new and free Pakistan means his Govt. in the country. If he becomes PM, Pakistan will be free and new. what an irony! As far as TQ is concerned, he is working on his personal vendetta. Let the people of develop democratic norms for God's sake.

Democracy is not about casting votes, it about COUNTING votes. How can something that can not be verified be considered authentic? Every one, and most importantly the PML(N) itself has categorically said that votes can not be verified due to many reasons including ink. So if its not verifiable, its not authentic, if its not authentic then what did they count?

Now there is no doubt that IK and Q have become biggest disruptive forces in Pakistan.They are completely acting on the orders from their puppet masters .May God give courage to Pakistan govt to deal with such disruptive traitors of democracy.As regards many of their demands most of these are hollow slogans ,others are impractical.One of the demands of Q is totally rubbish namelly forming. 23provinces .Problems are not due to provinces being big ,it is because of bad governance and having disruptive leaders like IK & Q.Provinces of UP, CP,Gujarat ,Mahrashtra in India are bigger than any province in Pakistan and no one in India is agitating to break these provinces.Similarly the many states in USA,Canada,Australia etc are many times bigger than Pakistan itself .Moreover. if Punjab is broken up then full representation will have to be given to all these areas of Former Punjab on the basis of population for NA,Senate& election of President( one Man one vote & not a lower proportion like now)Also it is a wrong propaganda that there is a Language called Saraiki ,in fact multani,Riasti,pothwari,chakwali,mianwali accent,Hindko,Lahori,Mirpuri etc are all dialects of Punjabi language.Propaganda for a Saraiki Proince in South Punjab is an insincere attempt by feudal lords of South Punjab to gain absolute power in that area like feudal lords enjoy in Sindh.

I am not sure if Imran has proved himself in KPK to be worthy of occupying PM's chair. He has certainly failed to enthuse common Pakistanis to join his March. The Elections were rigged. Chaudary Nisar the Interior Minister said on the floor of the Parliament that there are 60-80 thousand votes in each constituency that are unverifiable. Former Secretary of Election Commission says additional ballots were printed 2 days before the Elections is against the rules. Where ever the ballots were recounted they revealed huge number of bogus votes. I think we should all be concerned not just the PTI or PAT. Imran has taken a huge gamble. He should have remained in Lahore. Islamabad is not a place of revolt or revolutions.

Imran Khan's demands are 100 percent justified and right. If there is a threat of a suicide bomber then Chaudry Nisar should ask his party dictatorship to resign quickly. Goverment again doing the mistake of taking things lightly. Peoples problems are real, but there looks no real solution to their problems, by PTI or PAT. If the poor do not pay their utilities bills, they will be living in dark. Their lives are already in the darkest tunnel.

Although, I am not a big fan of politics and prevailing conditions overall in Pakistan, and waited almost 6 years to come back to Pakistan to my parents and family after spending many years abroad, it looks like this may be the last resort for all Pakistani's to rise and fix it once and for all and do not leave a single politician or bureaucrate without a proper accountability and taking back every single penny from them and hang them to let them not come back to this system again. The other side is just darkness and no change and to have people of Pakistan get nothing. If anyone asks any Pakistani, no one would say against the agenda points given by either TUQ or IK and would like to give Pakistan something good after all.

IK is raising the political stakes for himself, the govt. and everyone else. The more he raises the stakes, the more it will become difficult for him to back down, and the more it will hurt Pakistan. Sitting in the opposition his not aware about the ground realities. When he comes to power all his stances will change.

I hope IK directs all his energies to bring improvement in KPK. The only part about the march that I agree with is about putting pressure on government to deliver, and not to spread anarchy in Pakistan. A disorderly transition will not be good for Pakistan and would be akin to a military take over of the govt. and would bring even more disastrous results and push Pakistan back by many years.

Is IK too blind to see what happened as a result of the so called revolutions in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and Syria. First off I want to say Im a big fan of Imran Khan and believe he will make a great Prime Minister. However in all honesty I think the current agitation and protests are not in the interest of our country. Lets put politics aside and focus on the greater good of the nation. A reasonable outcome would be to modify, improve and safeguard the voting system so that next election things go alot smoother. We have to be realistic and knowing our own people, I expected some degree of rigging but overall per international observers it was relatively fair. Democracy is still fragile in Pakistan and elected officials need to be abe to finish their terms. Mr. Imran Khan tells his followers not to pay taxes. Mr. Khan should do this himself first and see if he can live without electricity, water; if there is fire in his home, no fire fighters; if his home is attacked by criminals, no police to come to his help; no use of roads to drive car or even walk; no ambulance or hospitals to attend to medical emergencies. If Mr. Khan can live without all these services then all his followers can live without it.

Just be reasonable. When the government placed containers to stop Imran Khan's " Azadi March" it was unreasonable in its measure. When Imran Khan demands the resignation of an elected Prime Mininster he is being unreasonable. Parliament is the sovereign body and it can choose another Prime Minister if it sees fit. However, to ask people to start in civil disobedience is not reasonable. There is a plenty of lawlessness in Pakistan. Please do not add fuel to the fire.

@M. Siddique Only the government servants pay taxes.cut from there pay checks. MPAs and MNAs etc don't think they are required to pay taxes. Same is true for most of the people owning there businesses. And finally of course the Wadairas and Zimindaars---- there is no Zarai tax. It is not who rules the country, the Govt must look into the issues raised by the protesters and address these issues to solve the problems of the masses. IK alleged that last NS bought CJ Iftikhar Ch, caretaker PM Najam Sethi, all Returning officers, and and a General. So, I wonder if the NS government is dissolved and new elections take place and IK loses again, what's the guarantee that IK will accept the new results? Im sure even if god will come and govern Indian subcontinent it will hard for him until unless people him self are not corrupt and do hard work. These slogans only works in air and to create noise it can build nation. Only leader who make changes is working silently and through democratic process and not through threatening.

@Kashif Kamran Democratic form of government, you fight the elections, win with a majority and make the changes. Just because you have a long march and you tell the government to resign, is not the right solution. First IK does not represent the whole country, he only won a majority in PK.

Half Cooked Notion Imran Khan's call for civil Disobedience is a Half Cooked Notion. He has not explained what to do ? If their electric connection get disconnected. He is not serious about Civil Disobedience as he has not directed WAPDA or Electrical Companies not to disconnect electric connection on non payments. Pervez Iqbal

@Jawad They were not "innocent" people but trained troublemakers. They fired at the police. What was the police to do? Take their bullets? As for corruption,which government in the world is corruption free? At least the PML-N government is not as corrupt as Zardari's. Even allowing for that, this is no way to remove an elected government.

I agreed with IK for not paying tax and bills....there is hardly a few percentage of people who pay tax honestly. No politician pay any tax or bill....people pay bill where they are full of surcharges and charges and taxes but they get no utility be it a gas or electricity....these politicians and bureaucrats don't even spare zakat, khairat and Hajj funds....politicians don't even spare animal hides in EID. Now they are doing bla bla against the Civil Disobedience. They and their families even their friends are doing civil disobedience. I am with not paying for bills and taxes until system is corrected and I know where my tax money is going i.e. it is spent in my country for my country and for my family and countrymen.

IK and TUQ are bent upon destabilising the Country, thats for sure , they have some hidden Agenda.

Well, what a brilliant idea asking people not to pay taxes, electricity bills etc as very few pay taxes and many steal electricity. I am sure even PMLN supporters and all others would obey Imran's orders, kioki kisi ki shakal par nahi likha hua ki woh PTI supporter hai.

Imran should beware of urging people to break the law and not pay taxes, lest people should adopt the same newly learned tactics, should he ever get into office.

This is absolutely asinine. 87% of Pakistan do not pay taxes. I am not sure how will this impact anything. Imran Khan's inexperience is oozing out through his words.
