LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashhood says the Gujranwala incident is tragic but the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leaders should take care in selection of words so as not to provoke workers of the rival parties.

He claimed that some PTI workers pelted the office of the PML-N MPA in Gujranwala with stones.

He said the PTI long march was a ‘flop’ show as people expressed their ‘no-confidence’ in the PTI leadership by not joining the march. He said that after the failure of the long march, the PTI workers wanted confrontation.

The minister said the chief minister had strongly condemned the Gujranwala incident and directed the administration to take action against those responsible for it besides closing down the PML-N offices on the route of the long march.
