GWADAR: Unidentified men attacked a checkpost of the Frontier Corps with rockets in Tump area of Kech district on Monday.

Sources said several rockets were fired at the FC checkpost in Tump area close to Pak-Iran border but they missed the target and exploded at an open place.

The FC personnel responded by firing rockets, forcing the attackers to retreat.

No loss of life was reported.

Meanwhile, one man was shot dead in Turbat town.

Police said armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on Abul Hassan, killing him on the spot. The motive of the murder could not be ascertained.
