KARACHI: Syed Sabih Mohsin, former director programme of Radio Pakistan, passed away on Friday. He was 80.
He is survived by a widow, four daughters and a son.

Mr Mohsin wrote radio reviews for the Dawn for years. He used the pen-name of Desnavi, which was derived from Desna, a village in Bihar, India, from where he had migrated to Pakistan. He worked at Dawn for some time after retirement from Radio Pakistan.

His funeral prayers would be held in Masjid-i-Bilal, DHA Phase-VII after Zuhar on Saturday and he would be laid to rest in the graveyard of the University of Karachi.
