Weekly weird

THIS is with reference to the Weekly weird section’s news “Eating garbage on a bike journey from Paris to Warsaw” (YW, June 28, 2014).

It is really sad to know that how we throw food that is leftover without any care. So is the case in European countries where on daily bases, people throw half of their food in garbage bins which would otherwise satiate the poor.

In our country, most poor people can’t even get two meals a day so this is my humble request to everyone reading this to make sure you are not wasting food. The leftover should be given to the deserving.

Mr Not-Nice

THIS is with reference to the story “Mr Not-Nice” by Sherbano Tajamal (YW, July 28, 2014). It was a great story about a naughty child. The story gave us a lesson about behaving nicely with everyone because nobody likes naughty children.

Understanding an introvert

THIS is with reference to the article “Understanding an introvert” by Benazir Raz (YW, June 28, 2014). I really liked the topic because I am also an introvert person.

The article proved very helpful for me in grooming my personality as I learned many things about how to present yourself in a gathering. And I request the YW team to publish more interesting and self-help topics like this one.

II

THE article “Understanding an introvert” by Benazir Raz was a wonderful and helpful article. I am an introvert and this is true that people mostly take my silence for rudeness. While on the other hand, I really don’t know how to mingle in the discussions so I remain composed and enjoy listening to others’ discussions. But people pass unwanted comments which really hurt me. However, I would like to appreciate the writer for bringing this topic into light and providing introvert readers with suggestions and solutions to improve and create a balanced personality that has both introvert and extrovert traits.

You are getting old

THIS is with reference to the website review “You are getting old” by Asif Ali (YW, July 5, 2014).

It was a wonderful site to visit. I enjoyed surfing it. As there wasn’t much detail in it so it was easy to focus on the interesting facts and things that happened in our lifespan. Also, knowing about people born on my birth date, those who are still alive and those who are dead was quite intriguing.
