Syed Ibrar Hussain Shah was on way to his bakery when he was shot by gunmen on Tuesday morning.

Hearing gunfire, a resident of the area, Nasir Abbas Zaidi, came out of his home. He saw Mr Shah lying in a pool of blood.

He called the local police, who shifted Shah to the district headquarters hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim’s brother, Mazloom Hussain Shah, said in a statement that his brother had no enemies and was not involved in any monetary disputes.
