KARACHI: The Pepsi-PCB Stars for U-16 Talent Hunt Programme begins here at the National Stadium on Saturday.

On Saturday, trials will be held for the players from Nazimabad, North Nazimabad, F.B. Area, Liaquatabad, North Karachi, New Karachi, Buffer Zone, Orangi Town, Qasba Colony, Baldia town, Site Area, Kemari, Surjani Town, Pak Colony, Golimar, Sher Shah, Mangopir, Sohrab Goth, Sir Syed Town, Ajmer Nagri and Metroville.

On Sunday, trials will be conducted for the players from Jamshed Road, Garden, Bahadurabad, Tariq Road, Nursery, Akhtar Colony, Kala Pul, Burnes Road, Saddar, Defence Clifton, Shaheed-e-Millat Road, PECHS, Memoodabad, Jehangir Road, Sultanabad, PIB Colony, Haji Camp, Lines Area, Pakistan Quarters and Soldier Bazar.

On the final day of the trials on April 28, young cricketers from Landhi, Korangi, Malir, Steel Town, Bin Qasim, Shah Faisal, KDA Society, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar, Model Colony, Airport, Malir Cantt, Khokhrapar and Pahlwan Goth will appear for the trials.

All players participating in the trials are advised to bring their Nadra ‘B’ or Nadra birth certificate for age verification.

All participating players are advised to come in white cricket clothing along with their personal sports gear.

The cut-off date for the birth certificate for the players eligible to participate in the trials is Sept 1, 1997.
