No harm in accepting Taliban demands: JI

LAHORE: Jamaat-i-Islami emir Sirajul Haq says the government should give serious consideration to the Taliban demands if it does not want more bloodshed in the country.
During a press conference here on Friday, he said the Taliban were simply demanding a peace zone for talks where there was no danger of attack and the release of about 300 non-combatants. He said there was no harm in accepting these demands for freeing the country from terrorism.
Mr Haq said the talks were not the issue of the two “Sharifs” it was an issue of the country’s solidarity and the nation’s future. Therefore, both the Sharifs should be on one page for making the talks successful.
Replying to a question, he said the dollar price was falling continuously but the prices of flour and other eatables were not coming down because the ruling elite was not ready to treat the masses on equal footing.
Answering another question, the JI chief said that in order to hold fair, free and impartial elections, an independent and autonomous election commission on the pattern of that in India must be set up that did not yield to any pressure from any quarter.

The name of this party is "Islami" and of its latest / present head is "Haq". However, its views in respect of TTP demand are neither Islamic nor based on any Haq (fact or truth) . If terrorists' current demands are accepted and 300 men are released then in all probability more demands will be put forward and this cycle will continue. Moreover, if demands are accepted the terrorists are bound to gain more strength and they will kill more and more of us. They are only here to kill, as it is in their blood. Generally speaking the talks are being used to gain time and strength, nothing else.

The country doesn't want to give in to the demands of a bunch of thugs , murderers and bandits using Islam as an excuse. These people are worse than the gangsters in South America and Eastern Europe but have found a way to black mail Pakistanis emotionally by using Islam as an excuse and destroying our religions image across the world. I have a suggestion for honourable Sirajul Haq. Why not be a man and give a fatwa for death penalty againsr the people who just tortured and murdered a poor mother of 5 because she was trying to save the lives of Pakistani kids agains Polio. What is JI's position on that ? Maybe JI's leaders are too scared of Taliban as they know if they take the right stand to protect Islam's honour, their own mothers, wives and sisters are not safe .

This is Warning from JI, means Taliban. Accept their demand or they will spoil the blood of Pakistanis. These JI HYPOCRATES must openly announce their merger in TTP. JI wants to be part of democracy and also covertly (and sometimes openly) supporting terrorists. When will we open our eyes?

What bothers me is we have Emir or Khalifah of a Qabila (tribe) a gang or group of may be few hundred or few thousand Muslims. Historically Emir or Khalifah was the title for the Head or leader of the entire Muslim world. Today even Taliban group have an Emir. This is nothing but mockery of Islam and those Mullahs who go along with mockery of Islam are enemies of Islam.

These people do not understand that if any of TTP's demands are met it will set a precedent for others to arm themselves and kill innocent people for acceptance of their demands. Some body rightly said that these (Ji and PTI) are more dangerous than Talebaan. May allah have mercy on Pakistanis.

No more release of prisoners. Taliban killed FC men and did not relapse sons of salman Taseer and Gilani. So no more releasing of prisoners to strengthen Taliban.

This is really crap, instead of getting rid of TTP, first we need to get rid of these Taliban living within us who are real traitor and real danger to our society. They never speak a single word for Prof Ajmal, sons of Salman Taseer and Yousaf Raza Gilani who are non combatant and insisting to release all TTP prisoners, once they are out they will hit us more hard, importantly they are killers of our society.
Poor nation struck in the hands of couple of idiots, may ALLAH protect us from all evils living within us.

Can JI guarantee that having acquired the free zone the Outlaws will not kill and slaughter the common man on the street say subzi mandi to Army Jawans.Why not JI talks about the release of two sons under the custody of Taliban. Can their release from captive harm them?Taliban sould lay down their illegal arms before demanding a free zone.

If Pakistan wants to bring peace, we are going to have to take the gloves off with these Taliban apologists. They should all be arrested under anti terror laws and interned in camps. That way they will not be able to poison the next generation. Their Madressahs should be taken over by the state and turned in to government schools.

Religion is supposed to bring harmony, peace of mind, comfort, serenity, calmness, sympathy for others and closeness with the creator - In Pakistan, it has brought out bombs and suicides, killing of minorities, deception and double games, honor killings, abductions and ransoms, drugs and deaths. It is because of people like these that we have forgotten what our religion teaches us.

By accepting their demands, we are offering them more time, ammunition and manpower to harm us. They do not belong in our country and for that matter, I doubt any country would want them! These bullies don't need to be negotiated with and believe me, they are just bullies! They only understand the language of "force" and that is what needs to be implied by our military to get a permanent solution to this ongoing problem!
