These days Sara Loren, the artist formerly known as Mona Lisa (no, not da Vinci’s masterpiece) is flying high. After the modest success of a couple of films, she will now be seen in a movie titled Barkha.

The Bollywood flick is directed by Shadab Mirza (never heard of him before) and Sara L’s love interest in the story will be played by Taaha Shah (never heard of him before either). But the actress is not smug about her accomplishments. Talking to a local journo (yes, she’s from Pakistan) she has reiterated her desire to work in a Pakistani film on the condition that the film is a mayari (quality) one.

Alrighty then! It means that the movies Sara L has done in India are all mayari. Of course, they are. They’ll soon be nominated for Oscars.
