QUETTA: Two nomadic women were gunned down and another was injured in an attack in Tehsil Road area of Loralai town on Thursday, police sources said.
Sardar Bibi Marwat and Almas Bibi Marwat died on the spot and Saad Gul was seriously injured when unidentified men attacked them near Noorani Mosque.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
“We are investigating the incident and trying to ascertain why these women have been fired upon,” a police official said, adding that a case had been registered against unknown killers.
No arrest was reported.
