DERA MURAD JAMALI: Miscreants blew up two pylons of high transmission line near Chattar area in Nasirabad late on Tuesday night, resulting in suspension of power supply to 17 districts of Balochistan.

Officials confirmed that two pylons of 220kv in Maula Bakhsh Paichoha village linked to Guddu Barrage had been attacked. They said the incident caused suspension of electricity supply to Quetta and 16 other districts.

Qesco officials said that power supply to Quetta had been restored through an alternate line.

Repair work on damaged pylons will be undertaken once the security clearance was received, they added.—APP
