if you live by the sword, you die by the sword. ASWJ is an extremist party which is misusing Islam.

Those who promote violence will also have to face violence as a law of nature.

These were leaders of a party that decreed all Shias should be annihilated. Looks like their own decree caught up with them.

In a country with 90% sunnis, what is the purpose of this party?. What is their objective in life?. As a sunni, I don't understand this politics of religions and sects. Do these people have jobs like most people? and don't they have families?. I doubt it.

I guess the minorities are fighting back now.

I am Shia. I remember as a young child during our possession in the bitter heat of june/July as my father walked barefeet on hot tarcoal laced roads and all along the road the Sunni Muslims would come with buckets full of water and pour on his bare feet, my father would be very humble and request them not to do it and the gentleman pouring water in turn say please u do ur worship as u want and I would do it as i feel it. My father would pray for the good health and prosperity for the person and move on and this person would run to the nearest water fountain to get more water for the next person he felt needed some relief... I also remember there would be sabils all along the path and none of them were shias and i asked my father why do they do it as they are not shias and he said no baby we are all muslims. We all express our sorrows for what happened to our prophet's children in different ways and i fell in love with these people who would go out of their way to make that 2 mile walk in blistering heat for my father and many many senior age muslims. I saw us all as Muslims no matter what sect. During the night of 10th of muharram the sunni Muslims would bring food cooked by their mothers wives sisters and daughters to make sure we eat before the sunrise. The ladies would come all night long and pray and ask for health and prosperity for their husbands, fathers, children and brothers. And then came Zia ul Haq by far the most evil person of my life time. He destroyed us all.

Are no Sunni and Shia both Muslim? Why must there be violence among believers? If Islam is a "peaceful religion," this is not to be tolerated. Either tolerance is promoted and practiced, or hatred and violence will continue endlessly.

Alas innocent people will be targeted as a reprisal. Pakistan must ban all religious parties that have known links or past with extremism and terror.

Who is responsible for the welfare of the people and their safety in our country? Isn't it the head of the country - Nawaz Sharif so why authorities don't file a case against him.

Is anyone safe in Pakistan except the corrupt politicians who have security at the cost of poor people of pakistan.
