PESHAWAR: At least one person was reportedly killed in a missile strike in Hashim village area of Bajaur tribal region on Saturday, according to a local administration official.

An official belonging to the political administration of Bajaur ageny's Khar tehsil headquarters confirmed that rockets fired from Afghanistan's Nangarhar province landed in a residential area of Hashim village situated in Charmang tehsil of Bajaur tribal region.

He said that several missiles, fired periodically from across the border, landed in Pakistani territory adding that only one of the missile had reportedly landed in a residential area.
