KARACHI, Dec 9: The Board of directors of Kohinoor Sugar Mills Limited (KSML) on Monday approved the transfer of 52.23 per cent shares of the majority shareholders of the company to M/S Cane Processing (Pvt) Ltd in accordance with the provision of Listed Companies (Substantial Acquisition of Voting Shares and Takeovers) Ordinance, 2002 and the related Regulations 2008.
The Lahore-based sugar mill, in its announcement on Monday, did not specify the price per share at which the controlling stake would pass on to the buyer.
