NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Nov 7: A man allegedly killed his pregnant sister on the pretext of karo-kari in Chaudhry Jalal Ji Ari village, within the remit of the Darya Khan Mari police station on Thursday.
Area SHO Latifullah Shah said Mahir Laghari shot dead his 34-year-old sister Ms Naziran, for contracting a second marriage on her own free will.
He said that mother of three daughters, the victim’s first husband died two years ago. About a year ago, she remarried a member of her community, Mohammad Haroon Leghari.—BoC
