LAHORE, Nov 4: Four robbers looted cash and prize bonds worth Rs10 million from a filling station on GT Road near the UET in the Mughalpura area on Monday.

Mughalpura SP (Investigation) Imtiaz Sarwar said four armed men, riding two motorcycles, came to the petrol pump of Humayun and held hostage three employees sitting in the cashier room.

He said the suspects looted prize bonds worth Rs4.5 million, cash in millions and also drove away the car of the owner.

The SP said the initial investigation revealed that one of the security guards had not been coming for duty for about a week while the other guard was ill.

The police registered a case and began investigation with the help of a CCTV footage and other evidences collected from the crime scene. — Staff Reporter
