CHARSADDA, Aug 24: An Afghan national along with wife and minor daughter from Afghanistan was gunned down allegedly by the in-laws in Khat Kalli area here early on Saturday.

She said the couple had married eight years ago against the consent of Zareena’s family.

The complainant said Ajab Khan, wife Zareena and daughter Salma were shot dead when they were asleep at their home.

Meanwhile, a girl on Saturday committed suicide over a domestic dispute in Sardheri area.

Also in the day, a 12-year-old girl drowned in the River Swat near Mandezai area and police recovered a man’s body from the river in the Prang area of Charsadda. —Correspondent
