PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister-designate Pervez Khattak has said the incoming government of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) will bring result-oriented changes in education, health, power and revenue sectors to eliminate the difference between rich and poor.

He was presiding over a high-level meeting of the education, health, power and finance departments at the Civil Secretariat on Tuesday.

Senior Minister designate and Naib Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq, Provincial Parliamentary Leader of Qaumi Watan Party Sikandar Sherpao, Central Leaders and Economic Advisers of PTI Asad Umar, Jehangir Tareen, Azam Swati and Ishaq Khakwani, Speaker designate KP Assembly Asad Qaisar and other officials attended the meeting.

The participants suggested various proposals to improve the performance of the concerned departments.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister-designate made it clear that they will act according to the party's manifesto and made concerted efforts to address the issues confronted by poor and needy.

He announced that all the discretionary powers of the chief minister will be ended. People will be enabled to make their own decisions at district, tehsil and city level, he added.

Khattak said a comprehensive youth policy would be prepared besides providing the facilities of sports playgrounds to every union council. He said that by making the province role model for others, the mission of PTI chief Imran Khan will be accomplished.
