No need to pass resolutions if Pakistani govt can't act on it. Can anyone carry oout a drone strike in the US or Israel and get away with it? NO so why in Pakistan.

Why not an anti-terrorist and anti Taliban resolution, what is more counterproductive, PTI know very well but they are not brave as much brave and daring as ANP.I belong to the tribal are (FATA) and confirm that drone attacks are more precise, accurate and productive that the Pak army operation. They dont blow our schools, Hospitals, Public infrastructure and dont slit throats of innocent men and women like the Taliban do. the drone dont blow the inocent men and women who administered Polio drops to our children. shame on PTI leadership for this hypocrisy.

Why our courts which have shown eagerness to take action in so many other cases do not punish foreign powers by imposing appropriate fines which should adequately compensate financial and death and injury losses to the so called super powers engaged in cleansing difficult areas.Huge fines should be declared for the adequate financial compensation of the innocent victims.

Now the question is whether PML-N will support this resolution.

That is the first sign of UNITY in the history of Pakistan. I hope to see examples of FAITH and DISCIPLINE, too.

@Syed: These are emotional slogans. What will happen, when the drone attacks stop? Will the Taliban disappear or take over Pakistan? If there are no terrorists, there will be no drone attacks. Take care of your problem, and don't worry about drones.

Keep on beating the same drum, who cares & who would listen. US considers talibans its enemy & rightly so because of attacks on NATO forces. If Pakistan is so much concerned about its sovereignty , why don't Pak forces go after Hakeemullah & his cutthroat followers, they have killed more Pakistanis than American drones.

Here we go again. The Leader of PTI rather than addressing the serious nation destroying problems of abject poverty, acute corruption, power shortage, severe unemployment, sectarian killings and terrorism has his top most priority - The Drones. As if when the Drones are withdrawn all the above mentioned problems of Pakistan would some how will be eliminated. We all know that Drones will eventually go away. May be as soon as the end of 2014. I would then love to see these same idiots for whom the Drones are a Holy Grail. Watch the TTP, Al Qaeda and the other terrorists group mushroom and killings increase by many folds. Be be careful what you wish. You may get it. I hope they do get it.

PTI is great at raising popular and easy slogans e.g. corruption, load shedding drones, but when it came to the difficult issue of Ahmadi voter rights, an issue where it takes some spine to take a principled stand, it capitulated miserably, crawling on all fours to lick the feet of the molvis. Bravo PTI! we know what you are made of.

@pahtanoo: Dude, while I agree with there being other issues as well you can't dismiss the droneissue as something petty. Do you seriously thing the Droneattacks are doing any good? Consider the fact that in most cases 70-90% of the deaths involve innocent civilians. This results in people who lose familymembers to instead join the militants by swearing vengeance against America, so it's NOT productive at all. Personally I find the war on terror as just B.S., America needs to kill people in order show its' people that they are "doing something" with the American taxpayer's money. Who really benefits from this? America has had several economic issues, it's a 1st world 3rd world country with no universal heatlhcare, 15% poverty rates, the number of people killed in America FAR outweighs the number of Americans killed by 'Jihadists'' - so think again. I would be impressed if the Pakistani politicians can show boldness enough to reject further footlicking of America and actually threaten to shoot down drones if they continue to operate them over Pak soil. Secondly I don't see how you can be so cold towards the people who've lost familymembers in the FATA area, maybe you're a rich guy living far away from these troubled places but it could as easily be you who lost familymembers, so show some empathy. As for the other things in the country, you think the PTI would only be focused on 1 thing as the drones? Are they not allowed to address more things? The Dronepart is just one very urgent issue where people's lives could be saved the sooner the attacks stop. Btw it's not just Pakistanis who're against the Droneattacks, alot of American civilians are against them too.
