KARACHI, May 13: A policeman was shot dead in an Orangi Town area on Monday, police said.

They said that Assistant Sub-Inspector Maqbool Shah was returning home in Farid Colony after offering Isha prayer when gunmen fired at him and fled. He sustained a single bullet in the head, which proved fatal. He was posted in the security branch of the police.—Staff Reporter
