7 outlaws held

ATTOCK, Sept 21: Police have arrested seven outlaws including a proclaimed offender (PO) from different areas of the district and recovered arms and narcotics.

The district police headquarter said here that Hazro Police seized 22.5-kg hashish from two alleged drug pushers the checking of a car, coming from Peshawar, near Chacch Interchange. Attock khurd Police recovered 1.2-kg hashish from the possession of an alleged lady smuggler during the checking of a wagon.

The same police also arrested a most wanted PO Maqsood Butt.

Moreover, Police recovered two pistols, five bullets and 175-gram hashish from Ghulam Hydar, Arshad Mehmood and Qamar Ali during snap checking in Pindigheb and Basal police areas.

Separate cases have been registered against the accused by the respective police stations.—Correspondent
