DAG found dead

GILGIT, June 27: The Deputy Attorney General of Gilgit-Baltistan, Shahid Ajmal Rao, was found dead at his residence on Monday. His body was taken to district headquarters hospital for postmortem.

Police said his wife tried to contact him from Gujarat on phone, but in vain. Then she called his (deceased’s) former body guard and requested him to help him search her husband. Police said his former bodyguard went to his residence situated in Jutial and knocked at the door which was locked from inside. When he got no response, he unlocked the door and found Mr Rao dead.— Correspondent
