ISLAMABAD: In the wake of the improvement in the security situation in North Waziristan’s F.R.Bannu area, security forces on Sunday closed down all check-posts in the region, DawnNews reported.

According to official sources, all security check-posts from Khajuri to F.R.Bannu in North Waziristan were removed and normal traffic had resumed.

More than nine students from Razmak Cadet College in F.R.Bannu had been kidnapped for a week, after which the security forces had set up the check-posts in these areas. The Razmak Cadet College has been re-opened after two years.
