KARACHI, April 25: A draft of Rs2 billion development package for Lyari Town has been presented to Asif Ali Zardari, Co-chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

A delegation led by MNA Sardar Nabeel Ahmed Gabol and acting nazim of Lyari Town Mohammad Hashim presented the draft to Mr Zardari in Islamabad.

Upon his return from the federal capital, Mr Hashim said here on Friday that the PPP chief was apprised of numerous problems being faced by the people of the town, which had been neglected for years.—PPI
