KARACHI, March 17: Eleven ships carrying tallow, palm oil and to load cement and ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Eastmed Carrier to load Cement, Hanjin Ningo, Cosco Lian Yun Gang to unload and load containers, Lady Tramp to offload fertiliser, Atyaab, Luck Fortune to unload and load general cargo and Pacific Tourmaline, an oil tanker, were berthed after the departure of a dozen vessels.

Eric G. Gibson, Y.M. Improvement, Kota Puri, Bunga Terasek, Conti Germany, Creek, and Hyun Jin Ks-3, Erria Maria, Happy Venture, Asean Sea 01, Aurora Sapphire and Swat were sailed out during the last two days.

While Eastmed Carrier, Hanjin Ningbo, Alam Senag, Cosco Lian Yun Gang, Pacific Tourmaline, Caria, Mol Ability and Atyaab are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.213m tons comprising 59,999 tons of export cargo including 12,979 tons of cement and 0.153m tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Varden and Chemstar Duke with 5,087 and 12,000 tons of tallow, Gemin with 8,000 tons of palm oil, Pacific Arrow to load 9,550 tons of cement, Chemorad Vega to load 12,000 tons of ethanol, Liquid Success to unload chemicals, Cape Colorado, Westernstar, Orient Stride and APL Amman with containers and Daebo Frontier to offload coal.
