KARACHI, Sept 29: Two ships to load cement and unload containers arrived at the outer anchorage, while two ships carrying chemicals and containers were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

Seven ships, Maersk Novazano, Al-Mariyah, Violet, Spar Emerald, Stolt Avenir, Chemstar Brave and Multan, were busy in loading containers, rapeseeds, edible oil, chemicals, fertiliser and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 58,323 tons comprising 34,914 tons of import and 23,409 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were active as Stolt Avenir, Al-Mariyah, Multan and Chemstar Brave left the port.
