KARACHI, Sept 17: Three ships carrying containers and to load naphtha are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where 11 vessels, Ocean Luck, Ruhunupura, Jitra Bhum, Oel Trust, Jade Trader to unload and load containers, Kuo Cheng to unload and load general cargo, Erria Dorthe, Swat, Agean Tiger and Uramus-7, tankers, were berthed.

A dozen ships including Swat, Erria Dorthe, Five Ocean, Sun Ping, Oriental Bouguet, Jade Trader, Ruhunupura, Global Prince Emirates Karan and Scotland departed on Monday, while Uranus-7, Salina, Pac Antlia, Ned Carrara, Captain Mustafa, Sinar Bintan and Aegean Tiger are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.196m tons comprising 39,909 tons of export cargo and 0.156m tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Formosaproduct Alpine to load 17,000 tons of naphtha, Fas Var and APL Shenzhen with containers.
