KARACHI, Sept 6: Five ships carrying containers, general cargo and coal are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Red Sea Spirit to load cement, Harmony, Cosco Shekou to unload and load containers, Capitan Mustafa to load rice and Agean Tiger to unload oil were berthed after the departure of eight.

The departed ships were led by APL Amman, Hyundai Future, Kapitan Byankin, Harmony, Lucky Arrow, Spirit and Skychent, while San Jiang Kou, Cosco Shekou, Y.M. Sun and Agean Tiger are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 0.110m tons comprising 45,721 tons of export cargo and 64,633 tons of import tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday: Tax Larchis with crude oil, Ntnos, Eric P Titus with containers, Ocean Trust with coal and Sibi with general cargo.
