PESHAWAR, Aug 7: A bomb explosion at a bus terminal here on Tuesday caused damage to three vehicles but no loss of life was reported. The explosion gripped the passengers and nearby people by fear and panic. Bomb disposal squad personnel collected evidence from the site.

The explosive planted on the rear wheel of a coach also damaged the front door of the vehicle. SSP operations Mohammad Tahir Khan said that the bomb was of minor intensity weighing 300-400 grams.

He said that a device was used to detonate the explosive.

This was the second blast at the bus stand in one month. Earlier, an explosion in an empty coach in the same area had damaged a passenger coach.
