Halal food festival

BEIJING, July 6: The International exhibition for “Halal Food and Muslim Commodities” to be held in Yinchuan would provide an opportunity to Pakistani traders for doing business in meat, dairy and other allied items and to explore new avenues of investment.

The festival is scheduled to be held from Aug 16 to 19 with the cooperation of Ningxia Investment and Trade Fair in Yinchuan, the capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

According to the organizers, Ningxia at state level has already developed a group of industry of Halal Food and Muslim commodities.

The breeding of cattle, sheep and processing of Halal meat, dairy products, grains, oil and healthcare food in Ningxia enjoys high popularity both within China and abroad.

Apart from the exhibition, sponsored by the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, well-known experts and scholars from different countries and regions have also been invited to hold negotiations and explore avenues for Halal food industry as well as its future development for mutual benefits.

On the occasion, Halal products display and sale, Halal cuisine and cooking skills competition by cooks nationwide and other activities will also be held. —APP
