KARACHI, June 15: Berthing was active as two vessels carrying containers and general cargo were accommodated at QICT and MPT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, three more ships carrying containers and crude oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Pride, Al-Wajba, Khairpur, Spruce Galaxy, BBC Asia and Adhua, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, edible oil, general cargo and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 46,254 tons comprising 27,227 tons of import and 19,027 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were active as Pride, Al-Wajba and Spruce Galaxy left the port.
