KARACHI, June 15: Five vessels carrying containers and DAP fertiliser are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Three ships, Y.M. Fortune, San Jiang Kou and Eagle Mil Waukee to unload and load containers and general cargo and to load naphtha were berthed after the departure of four.

The departed ships led by Hyundai Highway, Alamia, Yick Lee and Evdoxia, while Nyzdan, Pacific Arrow, Oel Esteem, Maersk Willow, Pacific Highway, Eagle Mill Waukee and Islamabad are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 72,126 tons comprising 37,192 tons of export cargo including 5,675 tons of cement and 34,934 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Jumeirah, Soon Fu, Oel Victory and Tower Bridge with containers and Luwi with 23,470 tons of DAP fertiliser.
